Accordions Anonymous
By creating a safe and caring atmosphere, this group helps its members overcome the debilitating effects of accordion addiction. Members gain confidence and peace of mind through performing and parading in public, "working the steps" together, and sharing stories of how they got "hooked".

As members of Accordions Anonymous, we have come to understand that we are powerless over our addiction and have made a decision to turn our phrasing and tempo over to the care of a Higher Musical Power. We believe in progress, not perfection. Thinking the tune through. And taking one note at a time.

Bob Boyers
Musician Bob Boyers has had a long and rewarding career in the music industry. Since moving to Eugene, Oregon in 1992, he has had the pleasure of playing his music with many fine jazz performers. He is available as a solo pianist, but prefers to perform 'in duo' with an acoustic bassist, or with a trio. He can be heard most often in appearances with Group Therapy Jazz Quartet, or Double Jeopardy piano/bass duo.

Bob plays the 'straight-ahead' style of jazz and has a varied knowledge of all the jazz standards, particularly some of the Latin favorites of the 40's and 50's. He will play piano background for your special event, or put together a group of musicians to provide live entertainment for listening and dancing.

The Cheeseburgers
The Cheeseburgers are a tribute to Jimmy Buffett and his laid back island philosophy. A musical mix of Caribbean, cowboy and rock and roll. A self contained party island, located southeast of Disorder and next to St. Somewhere but from right here in Eugene. Steel drum, driving guitar, rich harmonies, exotic rhythms, dancing girls. Stories of boats, bars, beaches and bad behavior. The Cheeseburgers are all that and more.

They have played concerts all over the Northwest and made two trips to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to open for Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers. They have made a splash in the national Parrothead scene and had songs from their two CDs of original music played on Radio Margaritaville. Their live show is a carnival of sound, color and motion. When the Cheeseburgers play, the world is a happier place, where the breezes are warm, the smiles are easy, and you can dance and sing in the sun for a while.

Conjugal Visitors
Conjugal Visitors shows are always raging events! With their unique mix of Mountain Dance music, bluegrass, jazz, old-time country and jug/folk, Conjugal Visitors shows are always a hoot. And judging from the massive crowds that keep showing up to their gigs, and the fact that they were just voted Best Acoustic Band in the Eugene Weekly's "Best of Eugene" reader's poll, it seems like a good chunk of Lane County knows that there's always a good time to be had with The Conjugals!

These boys are hot musicians and great singers, and they aren't shy about putting it on display during marathon sets of tightly woven arrangements and jazzy improvisation. Watching them perform makes you feel like you've stumbled into a free-wheeling, living room jam session/ party, but the talent and polish soon shines through the laid back attitude.
