Breweries In & Around Eugene:

Pub crawling in Eugene is so different than most other places. The Eugene area has its fair share of beer and micro-breweries and many varieties to choose from, which helps much in finding that perfect brew.

Below are some of the wineries located within easy driving/walking distances of downtown Eugene.

Eugene City Brewing
Adam's PlaceThe new Eugene City Brewery opened in 2004. Previously known as the West Brothers BBQ and then the Dive Bar & Grill, the location has its roots in the original historic Eugene City Brewery, established in 1866. Outside seating, pizza and 35 beers on tap including Rogue Ales, Track Town Honey Orange Wheat, 100 Meter, 200 Meter, and Triple Jump.

Rogue Ales are made with the finest hops and barley malt, free range coastal water and Pacman top fermenting proprietary yeast. Preservative, additives, chemicals: Never! Rogue does not pasteurize its products. Rogue Ales are bottled using an oxygen absorbing cap, brown glass for better shelf life, and plenty of malted barley and hops to provide stability.

Our homey, comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere appeals to people of all ages and from all walks of life. Our Cafe is liberally decorated with original artwork on our walls, doors and equipment.

One of Eugene's smallest breweries, High Street produces some of Oregon's finest ales. Our handcrafted brews, like Heavy Hand and the aggressively hopped Poweramp IPA are not around long (once the word gets out).

McMenamins North Bank Pub
Ambrosia Restaurant and BarA popular spot in Eugene, Oregon overlooking one of the most serene stretches of the Willamette River, the North Bank's tiered inside seating and outside deck provide a beautiful, panoramic view. Originally built as the North Bank Restaurant in 1979, this point in the Willamette River was chosen 150 years ago for a ferry crossing known as Skinner's Ferry. Our location provides a great option for televised game viewing and an even better place to watch the commercials. Just turn your head away from tube and check out the leaves falling on the river as boaters and bikers pass by. This comfy wood-built pub is the perfect place to sip a beer on a crisp fall day.

McMenamins' pubs are truly places for families and friends, as they have been since 1983. Inside all of our places inspired artwork abounds, and cozy booths and long, family-style tables invite folks of all ages to enjoy great conversation over a hearty meal and the glint of a fresh pint. We produce a whopping 200-plus ales each year which means you'll always have a wide selection to choose from.

Ninkasi Brewing
Ambrosia Restaurant and BarNinkasi Brewing began its history on June 15th, 2006 when Jamie Floyd and Nikos Ridge spent 17 hours brewing their first batch of Total Domination IPA in leased space inside a German restaurant in Springfield, Oregon. Once a brewery, the building was equipped with a 15 barrel brew house set up for brewpub brewing.

Within the next few months Ninkasi maximized its first home as they pushed their maximum annual output of 1600 barrels. Meanwhile, the two worked with the City of Eugene, the SBA, Liberty Bank and some investors to purchase their current location in the heart of the Historic Whiteaker neighborhood in Eugene. Over time, Ninkasi transformed the old plumbing company's building into the modern production brewery it is today.

The brewery now features a brand-new 30 barrel system, and in less than two years has been able to anchor itself as Eugene's flagship brewery, enjoying great support throughout the region. When not making and selling beer Ninkasi is doing what they can to support all forms of the arts, from music events, bands, theater, dance, and fine arts, to festivals and neighborhood parties.
