Bump In The Road entered the country scene back in 2003 as the Oregon State Champions in the Colgate Country Music Showdown. Starting as a three piece band, they relied on their vocal harmonies and instrumentation to connect with audiences all around the state of Oregon. Today, the power quintet focuses on tightness, tone, and arrangements to keep the audience on their toes. While modern country music is the backbone of the group, many of their individual influences appear in the live show. A very eclectic country band!
Multi-instrumentalist, Ryan Miller, is a telecaster master, banjo picker, harmonica player, as well as a great vocalist. He delivers a smooth voice, wailing solos, great tone, and all the details that set the songs off.
Fellow guitar slinger, Mike Sychr, mixes his rock n roll roots with a passion for country music in holding down the rhythm guitar. His vision, on stage energy, and refreshing mix of rock and country has transformed him into the modern day country crooner.
