In the early '50s, he scored a series of major hits that made him one of the most popular recording artists of the time. In the early '60s, he mounted a comeback as more of an adult-album seller. And from the mid-'80s on, he achieved renewed popularity with generations of listeners who hadn't been born when he first appeared.

David Byrne is well known as the musician who co-founded the group Talking Heads (1976–88) in New York. On record and in concert, the band was acclaimed by critics and audiences alike; more importantly, however, they have proven to be extremely influential.
Talking Heads took popular music in new directions, both in terms of sound and lyrics, and also introduced an innovative visual approach to the genre.

The concert will feature a 3D-enhanced live musical performance with Quad Surround Sound during two full sets.
Primus teamed with 3D Live to create original 3D content that will be broadcast on a special backdrop screen produced specifically for the tour. Audience members will be given 3D glasses upon entering in order to fully experience the visual and audio performance.
