Our winery was established in 1979 as one of a handful of young Oregon wineries. Over the years we have discovered the diversity of Oregon's great vineyards and produce an intriguing array of the Northwest's finest wines.

Our goal of crafting elegant wines is also a pursuit of eloquence, of wines that are expressive and persuasive, that convey subtle nuance with style and grace, achieving true complexity and engaging all of the senses.

We strive to capture a multitude of aromas and flavors to balance richness and complexity with delicacy and verve. Our vehicle is the art of blending.

Diversity in the vineyard leads to diversity in the cellar, a myriad of choices to build flavorful and complex wines that are simply delicious. We seek synergy from old world traditions and new world techniques.

A broad palate of flavors and aromas arise from various native and cultured yeasts, types and ages of fine French oak, fermentation, aging regimes, and experiments that lead to new discoveries. It is a complicated process of selection and refinement that ultimately delivers complexity.
