The Young Writers Association 2013 Glitterary Word Festival DRAWN TO THE WORD, continues from April 5 through April 27. All events are free and open to the public.

The April exhibit showcases the original art as well as enlarged prints of the art-word pairings from YWA Drawn to the Word, UpStarts Anthology II. It revels in the imaginative, lively writing by Lane County young people selected from 10 years-- thirty issues-- of UpStarts creative writing journal, and in professional local artists’

DIVA (the Downtown Initiative for the Visual Arts) hosts "Behind the Lens", a weekly film seminar that explores the relationship between classic feature films and the culture in which they appeared.

All films begin at 7:00 PM and are followed by a lecture, discussion and question and answer period. The duration of each session varies by the screening length of the film. Screenings take place at the UO Baker Center at 7:00 PM. The Center is located at 325 East 10th Street, Eugene.
